Welcome to The White Gecko Craft Lounge

I first met the White Gecko Craft Lounge team at last year's Festival of Quilts, where I loved their stall and ideas.  I live 130 miles from the shop, but think it well worthwhile travelling to do classes with them.  Sara has taught all the classes I've attended.  She is an incredible tutor, who gives very clear instructions, and endless useful tips, and watches over you the whole time. Many of the classes include selecting your own choice of fabric from the wonderful stock in the shop.  Throughout the period of coronavirus lockdown Sara and Sarah Jane have put on daily online workshops, including a sew along session every Wednesday, and a crochet class every Tuesday.  These 'one o'clocks' have been the highlight of every day - an absolute lifeline.  Very generously White Gecko has offered free postage and packing on orders throughout the lockdown.

I can't recommend this business highly enough,  from the fun workshops, to the excellent range of fabrics, notions and knitting wools in their shop, to a fantastic mail order service offered by a really friendly and efficient team. Diolch, White Gecko!!

I highly recommend these lovely girls. They have taught me some wonderful new skills over the lockdown period as well as kept me well stocked with materials etc and at very quick delivery. It is a pleasure to tune in at 1pm to learn new skills and pick up some very helpful advise and pointers. Thanks ladies. Keep up the good work and stay safe

I have shopped a the White Gecko Lounge, mainly for fabrics, on several occasions, and have not been disappointed! The lovely ladies that work there are always very happy to help, and provide helpful suggestions, ideas and advice. Super friendly, and reasonably priced. Hoping to try out one of the classes very soon!
