Moda's quilt backing fabrics have a 200 thread count which gives the fabric a lovely silky finish and feel. Moda's patterened 45 inch wide quilting fabrics usually have a 60 thread count so the quilt backing fabrics will feel more silky than the Moda quilting fabrics.
