Having one long strip with no joins is great for sashing, binding edges and borders on quilting projects. They are also a huge time saver as the rolls are already precision cut to a size to allow you to get straight on with the good bit. The 1.5 inch width on a roll solo will create a 1 inch wide finished strip once seam allowances have been sewn in, using a ¼ inch seam allowance.
