Mondrian Lap Quilt - digital download

This idea was based upon the art of Piet Mondrian, an abstract artist in the early 1900’s.  His art is mostly done with bright primary colours, white and black.  It is very geometric with clean lines.  Some of the lines in this patchwork idea were moved to accommodate easier sewing and the colours were changed to fit in with the fabric I was using.    

There are four quadrants which when sewn together make a 25” x 40” panel that can be used as a table runner, wall, hanging or a cot quilt.  It can be made bigger by borders, or by repeating the four quadrants until the desired size is achieved.
